This is a South Lake Tahoe, waterfront home located in the upscale community of Tahoe Keys. Very open, airy, with high vaulted ceiling very spacious with 2274 sq of living space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This home has a wonderful reverse floor plan which means the main living space is upstairs providing beautiful views of the water and surrounding mountain range. Impeccably maintained home ideal for entertaining, great room, kitchen, and dining area with vaulted beam ceilings, large gourmet-style kitchen with granite counter-tops and every amenity a gourmet cook will require. Vacation Holdings is known for creating a theme decor throughout all of our homes. Lovely upscale furnishing with a rustic and alpine leaf accents create just the right designer look throughout the home. No detail has been overlooked even down to the guest bath towels that have been embroidered with the Alpine Lodge logo...amenity soaps and shampoos are also provided for our guests. Redwood decking front and back with views of the mountains and lake, hot tub, and private boat dock. Fenced yard with lawn area that leads to the boat dock area, this home is great for families who enjoy outdoor activities and water sports, with the ease of docking your boat just a few steps out the back door. Vacation rental guests also have access to Tahoe Keys amenities (indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, and tennis courts for a minimal fee per day).

Imagine yourself on vacation, feet up, reading the paper on the deck, just a few steps from the boat parked in the private slip. Moments from now the family jump in the boat and head out on the lake. You look up from your paper and take in the slow caped view of Monument Peak, still-water marina, and think, "I couldn't have imagined that I could have selected such a great place to spend a vacation". After the trip out to the lake the family jumps into the private hot tub and then decides to play a game of volleyball and later take a dip in the hot tub to end a perfect day!

Nice and deep waterway we have as the home sits in the middle where the channels come together. You never have to worry about drought conditions with this property as the dock is extended out as far as we can into the channel so deep keel and large size boats of up to 30 feet now problem.

A Guided Tour of the home....... 

As you enter the front door of Alpine Lodge you will immediately see the staircase to the left. This is not a steep staircase so it is easily accessible for our elderly guests. The stairway leads up to the main living space. As soon as you enter the great room area you will be spellbound by the wall to wall window of glass with views of the wide waterway with a sea of boat docks in the distance.


Upstairs...the Great Room, Kitchen and dining areas

  The home has a very open and airy feel with high vaulted ceilings and the kitchen dining and great rooms all being part of one expansive room. The seating is extremely comfortable sofa, love seat and a comfortable lounge chair with ottoman in the corner of the great room. Cable digital TV with 32" flatscreen TV, stereo, DVD and Ipod Station.  Open-hearth river rock wood burning fireplace is perfect for cozy winter nights by the fire.

 Thedining area is a nice size with enough seating to comfortably seat 8 guests. The canoe light fixture with teepee lamp shades in the dining room is quite unique.  The kitchen also has a very nice breakfast bar which is ideal for buffet style entertaining or having exta seating for the children. Cabinets are oak with a natural finish with unique Alpine leaves as pulls on all the drawers and cabinets. The wallpaper in the kitchen and dining area also has free flowing autumn falling leaves.   

  The open and spacious Kitchen has granite counter tops with a six burner Viking range, microwave, GE oven, microwave and double door refrigerator. This kitchen is stocked with just about every amenity a cook could ask for in this well stocked kitchen that includes spices and condiments as well as coffee and tea for our guests. Some of the small appliances include a food processor, blender, four slot toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, maker, bread machine, rice steamer, crock pot and even an ice cream maker.

Deck Area

  Open the double sliding doors just off the great room and dining area. Great views of the Tahoe Keys channel. The deck has a stairway down to the lawn and hot tub area

Master Bedroom Suite

Alpine Lodge's master suite features a magnificent queen size four-poster pine bed with stair-steps. The bedroom also has a nice size armoire with enough storage for long stays with us. Inside the Armoire guests will find a Digital Cable 24" Flatscreen TV with DVD. A large sliding glass door leads to a front deck where you can enjoy morning coffee. The bed also has a feather bed, and lush down pillows and comforters for your enjoyment and comfort. he master bathroom has two large mirrored closets with vanity and shower area.

Guest Bedrooms

The second guest bedroom is located just across from the Master suite and also has a sliding glass door that leads out to another private deck on the front side of the home. This bedroom has been decorated in a fishing theme with real canoe oars that have been made into night stands. The queen size bed has a feather bed with down comforters and bedding that was custom made to match the wallpaper in this bedroom. In cold winter months the beds are all made with flannel sheets. The bedroom even features a boat book shelf that is stocked with paperback books and even books on fly fishing....the moment you step into this fishing theme bedroom you will feel like you are in another world and are already to get in to your canoe out fishing on the lake.  

The third guest bedroom is located next to the second bedroom upstairs and features another queen size feather bed. The room has been decorated in a lovely autumn leaf theme with matching bedding ensemble and has hickory wood rustic night stands on both sides of the bed. A large closet extends the entire length of the room. This bedroom has a 24" TV for watching DVD's however, it is not hooked up to cable.  A full size bathroom with shower over the tub area services both of these bedrooms.  

Downstairs...the Game Room

The downstairs level features a large family room with another wood burning river rock fireplace. This room has two sleeper sofa beds a queen as well as a full size sofa bed, 40" flatscreen TV and DVD player.  Two sliding glass doors open to the downstairs patio area making it easy access to the private hot tub.  NEW AMENITES....40" Flat Screen TV and 8' Billiard Table  

A small wet-bar is located just next to the game table. Having the famiy room downstairs and great room upstairs allows families to enjoy spaces together as well as apart. In addition to the family room area another full size bathroom is downstairs with shower over the tub and the laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer.

  Just outside the family room you will find the private hot tub that has enough seating for six guests. A nice patio area with outdoor patio furniture is also located on this level. The outdoor areas also has a nice size lawn area for playing lawn games.

Tahoe Keys Amenities

Alpine Lodge is located within the Tahoe Keys Homeowners waterfront community.  Amenities such as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, beach area, hot tub, tennis courts and boat launch at the tahoe keys marina.  A small fee is charged for use of the homeowner amenities which are shown at the bottom of our rates page. 

Tahoe Keys Marina just a few blocks away from the house.  Distance from the houe to the main channel into Lake Tahoe is about 15 minutes.
